Last Saturday we went to the new Wembley Stadium to watch the first competitive football match. It was a friendly between the under 21 teams of England and Italy. This was the first time I went to a football match and I didn't know what to expect from it. We got there fairly early in the morning and I'm glad we took the bus. It took just over an hour to get there. We thought we were early but there were already lots of people arriving at the same time. The gates didn't open until 10.30am (2 hrs before kick off), so I took a few photos of the structure. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, so the photos didn't come out very nice.
